OUR STORY

MICHAEL L JACKSON, WRITER/DIRECTOR/PRODUCER,

Founded by write/director/producer Michael L Jackson in 2007 in San Antonio Texas. after starting out in the film industry as an intern for a local production company in San Antonio, After the first day of production the projects producer, impressed with Michael's enthusiasm and ambition was hired as a production assistant. Where he worked with the company for three years on over thirty national television commercials.

After the formation of Idle Time Cinema. Partner in with JRAD Productions in 2018 to produce the award winning short film Solomon's Dilemma and the dark comedy Cost Effective. Idle Time cinema, next venture is to produce it's first full feature in 2021.

Movies have always been an essential influence in my life. Even before concluding, it was the career path I would choose. Filmmaking has given me a sense of wonder throughout my childhood to the present. A teacher an old friend, it is such a powerful tool with the ability to bring light to a subject. Give a voice to the voiceless, all the while entertaining.
